Where do you sell?

Can I visit your office?
We do not operate a retail store. Our office does have some popular items but not in all sizes and colours. Should you wish to visit please send an email to arrange an appointment - sales@bodyarmourcanada.com. Please state in your email the product you are interested in so that we can ensure it is in the office so that you do not have a wasted trip. Appointments will be arranged during the week between 10am and 2pm only.

Who do you sell to?
We sell to LAW ABIDING individuals only. If you intend to commit a crime while wearing or using a product sold by Body Armour Canada Ltd. you are prohibited from purchasing said products. In addition, we do not sell to minors.  In the Canadian provinces of Alberta; British Columbia; Manitoba; and, Nova Scotia, there are restrictions as to who can possess body armour. Are the Cut-Tuff™ products stab resistant?

No! The Cut-Tuff™ material is cut, slash, tear, abrasive and bite resistant. It is not stab resistant. A point of a blade etc. will penetrate the material. When you purchase a Cut-Tuff™ product you agree to indemnify us against any injuries caused.

Delivery

We only sell products that are in stock; however, on occasion an error with our inventory. can occur and an item may not be in stock. If this is the case then will will notify you of this and give you an option to wait until the item is in stock or have a full refund.

Generally we ship same or next day depending on when the order was received. Once shipped you will receive an email with tracking information.

Shipping costs are a flat rate of $20 per checkout cart sent anywhere in Canada via Canada Post. Please select PICK UP at check out if you wish to pick up an item. Contact us via email to arrange pick up date/time.

Comfort
Very comfortable as we use lightweight and thin ballistic material. If fitted properly, mobility is not an issue.

Much depends on body type, clothing and the properly fitted body armour.

Return Policy

Body Armour Canada strives to provide 100% customer satisfaction . If at any time, within 7 days of receiving your order, if you are not satisfied with the fit, style, quality or design of the product(s), return the item(s) to us in the condition in which it was shipped to you and we will refund your purchased product price 100% or exchange the item.

Please email us at sales@bodyarmourcanada.com if you intend to return or exchange your purchased product. NOTE that the BEST way to communicate with us is always by detailed e-mail. If you choose to call us and reach our automated voice mail, please leave a clear and detailed message.

All merchandise accepted for return by Body Armour Canada must be accompanied by the original sales invoice and received at Body Armour Canada main office within two weeks of original delivery. Shipping charges are not refundable. Return shipping charges is the responsibility of the buyer. Any orders we agree to restock may incur a restocking fee.

Any shipment damage or loss in transit must be communicated to us within 5 business days to claim for damage or loss.

Should you wish to exchange for the same product (you want a different size) then we may charge you for the return shipping fee.

Product Quality Warranty

Body Armour Canada warranties all products against defects in workmanship for 1 year from purchase date. This includes seams and tears in cloth that are due to faulty materials and workmanship, excluding normal wear and tear and/or abuse. Body Armour Canada reserves the right to determine whether product defect is in workmanship, materials, normal wear/tear or abuse. We will make every reasonable effort to achieve customer satisfaction. Any remedies is at the sole discretion of Body Armour Canada and may include:

Different levels of protection
There are pistol threats and rifle threats. Soft bullet resistant material stops pistol rounds and fragmentation but only a rigid rifle plate stops a rifle round. Level IIA, Level II and Level IIIA will stop the majority of pistol round plus 12 gauge and OO buckshot but no material is ever 100% ‘bulletproof’.  Unless specified the majority of our bullet resistant products are compatible with to NIJ Level IIIA 0101.06, which also protects against Level IIA & Level II.  We recommend staying away from the old 0101.04 standard as testing protocols have moved on since the old standard was in force!

The following standard abbreviations are used to designate types of bullets or projectiles contained in the rounds tested.

Rifle protection
Rifle rounds require Level III or Level IV ballistic plates made from either steel, ceramic or polyethylene - usually 10" x 12" weighs from 3 to 6 lbs per plate to cover the Chest and/or Back. Doubling up two Level IIIA WILL NOT stop a rifle projectile!

Can I Test Shoot my product?

Can I add your bullet proof panel to the back pack I just bought elsewhere?
YES! Our backpack Inserts are available in a number of sizes to fit just about any pack or compartment.

Can you make a panel to custom fit my tactical bag?
YES! Our Custom Bulletproof Panels are available in a number of sizes to fit just about any bag or compartment.

Are your products tested for reliability?
YES! We only sell products that have been tested to meet their respective safety standards.

Why do you use the term "bulletproof"?
Bulletproof is the common term that is well known and well searched by the civilian market. We put a lot of effort into trying to educate our customers about the limitations of NIJ standards and ballistic materials. We consistently reinforce the qualifier of being NIJ Threat Level 3a. Although the professional community avoids the use of "bulletproof", the definition fits our products...to the NIJ Threat Level 3a standards.
